The Foodbank of Santa Barbara County is a dynamic organization committed to ending hunger and transforming the health of Santa Barbara County through good nutrition. To help our team achieve this, we are looking for a Corporate Development Coordinator.
JOB TITLE: Corporate Development Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Development
Hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends and after hour event commitments
Non-exempt, Santa Barbara
Location: Santa Barbara, Foodbank Education Center
II. JOB FUNCTION- The Corporate Development Coordinator is responsible for raising funds through corporate grants, sponsorships and employee giving. This candidate will work with the Director of Development to actively identify and solicit prospective corporate donors while cultivating and building contributor relationships. As an integral part of a countywide Development Department, the Corporate Development Coordinator will participate in planning and coordinating the organization’s fundraising plan as it applies to corporate development.
III. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage solicitation schedule for corporate funding sources, working collaboratively with the Grants Department to complete grants and sponsorship requests.
2. Identify and pursue new corporate giving opportunities, while cultivating ongoing relationships with current corporate donors. Includes facilitating corporate acknowledgement and identifying recognition opportunities.
3. Develop and implement corporate engagement plan for growing corporate donations through traditional and non-traditional philanthropic channels, i.e. virtual food drives, food and fund drives, cause-related marketing and employee giving campaigns.
4. Update a corporate involvement packet with program and event sponsorship levels and recognition opportunities for print and website usage.
5. Track and monitor corporate relations data in donor management software to provide weekly and monthly progress reports.
6. Other duties as assigned or delegated.
